How online sessions work
After you reach out, we’ll match you with one of our New Jersey-licensed clinicians and schedule an initial evaluation — a thorough first session where your counselor learns your history and goals and builds a plan with you. Ongoing sessions are 30, 45, or 55 minutes by secure video; you just need a private space and an internet connection.
New Jersey clients especially appreciate telehealth for the obvious reason: traffic. No Parkway, no Turnpike, no finding parking — your session starts when you click the link. Evening-friendly scheduling makes it workable around commutes and family life.
Fees are identical to our in-person rates, with no telehealth surcharge: self-pay rates are $175 for the initial evaluation, then $145, $125, or $100 depending on session length. We participate with most commercial insurance companies, so most clients only pay their insurance cost for sessions.

Frequently asked questions
Can you really see me if your office is in Pennsylvania?
Yes. Licensing laws require your clinician to be licensed both where they practice and where you are located at the time of your session, and our NJ-serving clinicians hold the appropriate licenses on both ends. Your sessions happen by secure video, so the office location never affects your care.

Is online therapy private and secure?

What happens if I move or travel outside New Jersey?
Your care can continue only if you are physically located in a state where your counselor is licensed at the time of your session. Between them, our clinicians hold licenses in Pennsylvania, New Jersey, Maryland, Virginia, and North Carolina, so there is a good chance you are covered. Just let your counselor know where you’ll be located for each session.
