Patrick has over 15 years’ experience helping people restore balance and emotional well-being that sometimes gets lost as they experience problems that seem to overwhelm normal abilities to cope. He is passionate about helping people change and improve their lives. He recognizes people often come to therapy with a need to be heard, validated, and understood.
He has extensive experience working with clients that are struggling with relationships, school or work issues and is specialized in treating anxiety, life transitions, as well as drug/alcohol issues. His approach to therapy is always welcoming and non-judgmental. He focuses his work to help you to address the issues you choose in a way that respects you as a person and validates your experience.
In addition to individual work, Patrick has experience helping couples build and regain health and stability in their relationships. He understands there are a variety of things that can strain or even break the emotional connection necessary for a healthy relationship. He uses research-based approaches to help couples identify and achieve goals they set for their relationship. He recognizes how difficult this process can be and strives to make therapy a compassionate, judgement-free setting where both partners can feel heard and understood.
